Dietplan6 pro is delivered on a CD that will automatically install and set up the software on your target PC or network. It also comes with a Licence Manager that is used to activate the installed software.

The basic configuration for Dietplan6 Pro is a single-user licence, that can be used by one person at a time, and the software has administration facilities whereby different individual user profiles can be created so each person can work independently. Dietplan with a single-user licence can be installed either on a stand-alone computer or on a network. In the latter case, the program is accessible and can potentially be run from any PC attached to the network - but only from one at any time.

It is also possible to purchase Dietplan6 Pro with a multi-user or a multi-installation licence. The cost is based on the number of users or installations.

A multi-user licence allows the installation of a single, shared copy of the software on a network and the licence specifies the number of people that can use the program simultaneously or concurrently.

A multi-installation licence permits the software to be installed on the licenced number of different, stand-alone computers, each with a single-user licence.

The Dietplan6 Licence Manager is contained on a USB flash drive that plugs into a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on the computer where the software is installed. It is only needed while activating or moving the software and can be removed and stored safely during normal use. If required, and especially if the computer is running Windows 98 or NT4, the Licence Manager can be supplied on a 3.5 inch, floppy disk on request.
